This video showcases Batman: Arkham Asylum gameplay on the new 2010 MacBook Pro 13". This is after the first boss, early in the game.

Here are a few things to note: this is running on Windows 7 under BootCamp, Graphic settings are shown in the video, this is on Hard Difficulty setting.

Look at the top right corner of the video for the actual FPS. The game was highly playable, even on Very High settings. Lowering the graphics settings will surely add more frames, but I wanted to show the full capability of the notebook without sacrificing quality and performance.

Are you using some kind of software to overclock the GPU? Like afterburner or something to make the fans faster? Because I have the MBW with the same GPU and the game just runs totally ok in the low settings. Does the 2GB RAM makes a big difference?

@Roxxerr No I'm not making the fans any faster, but there is a way to do that thru the use of Lubbo's Macbook Fan Control. I'm not entirely sure if it will work on MBW. The extra 2GB makes a big difference for one reason: the Nvidia GPU on the MBW and 13" MBP are both integrated, meaning they share their memory with the system RAM. The more system RAM you have, the more it can allocate for the GPU memory. My MBP's GPU can use up to 2GB system memory for the GPU. It's overkill but not depleted.

The specs listed are all standard witht he Macbook pro? And when you say "windows 7 running under bootcamp", is that a program needed to use Windows on a MAc, or do you jsut install Windows as per usual as you would on a PC on the Mac?

@ReaperXC Yes the specs listed are the standard MBP13, except for the [Added] 750GB hard drive (the standard size is 250GB).

BootCamp is a program that comes installed within OSX. You will need a Win7 DVD to install it. Watch my other video which shows how.

@wobblyjelly13 Most games take up between 3-8 GB of FREE Hard Drive Space. Some go as high as 30gb. If there are large programs you don't use, uninstall them. They are clogging up your system.
