This is a bullfight on horseback. Unlike the unbloody Portuguese version, this one involves killing the bull. Not for the faint of heart.

As for the English, well being that my Catholic ancestors fled Ireland because of persecution by them I could be slightly biased but I must say that I admire England for not having joined the EU but I still hate their wimpy neo-socialist government. As for the food I cannot say that I can remember one remarkable dish I had in England whereas I can remember many from the mainland. If you favor good common food go to England or Ireland, if you like food that's really different head to France.

First of all I need to say as the author of this video that I am American of German and Irish ancestry and do not have a drop of Spanish blood. You can go on for centuries bickering about which culture is better. That is what has been destroying Europe for the past hundred years. World wars, Communism, Nazism, National Socialism, race hatred and stupidity have leveled the social customs and morals of Europe. Europe was most powerful in is regionalism and not in a socialist European Union.

Statistics and polls can be twisted to incredible degrees depending on who is interpreting them and on the questions asked. For one example here in the US the polls were totally off during the recent election. Though the polls did indicate the right person, they gave him an enormously unrealistic lead that he actually did not have in the real vote.

It is an ear. A bullfighter who does well, in other words shows no fear of the bull and then makes a clean and quick kill, gets one or two of the bulls ears and maybe the tail. A bad bullfighter, one who is afraid of the bull or does a sloppy job at killing the bull, gets boos. Most of the time the kills were pretty clean and quick. However, if a bull fighter makes the bull suffer needlessly, the Spanish people get very angry and will boo and scream at him.

It is mind boggling to listen to the self righteous Americans who have never been to a bullfight, Spain, or often not even left their own country. Of course they are all vegetarians, who dont wear leather.. and assume the lives and deaths of the cows and chickens and pork they eat is all done with general anesthesia.
