I think it's really awesome that the music department at RHS collaborated in this way. Perhaps they could have picked something that showcased both ensembles better, but I think there is definitely value to performing a piece like this as a large ensemble.

band sounded better by itself, choir sounded better by itself. I'm just impressed it sounded halfway acceptable together thats an accomplishment. only critique is to the trumpets, way too loud in high sections.

ugh i was in the choir and i don't know why they did the band/ choir thing. it just lowered the sound quality and experience :(

I think if you could have gotten the balance with instruments and voices to be more in proportion(like 1 on a part) it would have been much better. Overall still a pretty good performance though.

trumpets were too loud. band was too overpowering. overall, a capella pieces should be left a capella.
