  • So fluid and expressive...it's a pity the first half is missing...

It's interesting how Aimi is playing with the sleeves of her jacket covering half her hands as if the cuffs weren't rolled up enough. Any other pianist would find it very distracting, but I suppose that almost nothing can interrupt Aimi's phenomenal concentration...

  • Watching her play in that jacket reminds me how much I love the warm weather of sunny California

  • @chobeethaninov

    Thanks. That explains it.

  • @McRat1968 This clip was filmed in a small, private concert in September in Zelazowa Wola, Poland in 2008 when she was 12. It was a cold day!

  • Bravo! I have enjoyed Aimi's playing for the past 2-3 years now.

    Wonderful.

PS: But I must ask, slightly off-topic: where was this clip filmed? (Why is she bundled up so much, while playing indoors, on this clip? ...Reminds me of seeing Glenn Gould bundled up from head to toe on a bright warm day anytime he was out-and-about, so as not to catch any pontential illnesses outside.)
