Too sad! Po' Dan!

Yep, these are some of the cleverest lyrics ever. How about that last verse: Example A) "when Tina looked at Dixie" (is she looking at her face or her chest?); Example B) "but when Dixie told the DJ 'Gimme Three Steps, mister'" (does "mister" address the DJ or is Dixie quoting the song?); Example C) "all the gentlemen in the audience" (by "gentlemen" understand "toothless hayseeds"); Example D) "began to rise" (is that "rise from their chairs", or "rise" in the ithyphallic sense"?). Hilarious!

I am remiss. I will look for some relevant video.
Having said that, "victim of a short attention span" is right up there with "campaign shoutin' like a Southern diplomat".
I always liked every picture tells a story.
thanks,
Paul

Saw the Georgia Satellites several times in the mid-80s and they were always fantastic live. Shame the Monday night turn out was so poor. I'm the tw*t front centre in your video, playing dodgy air guitar! I met Dan after the gig and I indulged myself by including a pic at the end of my video. Keep rockin'! Great video, spud. I've done my own of the same gig based on some photos my wife took, mashed in with some video from 2003 'cos I didn't have enough pics - it's on my channel gypsymoth06.

great. Where the hell was everyone. You couldn't move for punters at the glasgow gig. Support band Gwyn Ashton was as good too.

Monday night-don't think anyone wanted to come out! Shame really, as it was a storming gig. I've never seen the place so quiet
