Tranquility Dome

Tranquility Dome" is an animated web series about a detective on the moon. A new, high frontier has opened up with migration via space elevator to new lunar colonies at the lunar poles and in the maria or seas. This frontier economy is rejuvenating earth by taking its excess population and developing new industries in Lunar Solar Power, Helium 3 fusion power, Lunar Oxygen Fueling stations, Lunar Tourism, and as a stepping stone to Space Colonies, Mars and beyond.

The series, a companion piece to the feature documentary "Gaia Selene - Saving Earth by Colonizing the Moon", is being produced using commercial off-the-shelf software of Bryce, Poser and Final Cut Studio. These low-cost programs enable the audience to participate though the website, http:mooncolony.tv by creating backgrounds, animations and characters. It's designed to be an open source series that explores the challenges of the near future.

The documentary "Gaia Selene - Saving the Earth by Colonizing the Moon" shows the science and engineering for colonizing the New Frontier. It is available on Amazon and Amazon Unbox.

Cool idea. The audio is hard to understand sometimes. But the basic idea is a good one, and I'm glad to see some more work in hard SF.

Great world to be in, good animation but the dialogue and character developement are too slow.
