I stopped by the grocery store where Kayla worked to pick up my favorites:Luna Bars. I lived on those things. I stepped into the overly air conditioned store and looked around.
"She must be off today." I whispered and headed back to the health food aisle.
My conversation with TC was still replaying in my head. He had noticed me yesterday,too. He thought it was cool that I didn't care about my hair and make up being ruined. I joked about waterproof eyeliner. He laughed and moved closer to me. He smelled really good, but I wasn't going to let him know that. His eyes were sky blue and I was obsessed with them. I couldn't resist staring into them. I looked down and realized that I still had his DC jacket. I had set my hoodie down and picked it back up, only to discover that it was covered in bright blue gum. He offered me his, and I accepted.
I wrapped it around me and prayed that no one was watching me blush like an idiot.

AG. I loved that name as much as I liked him. And that was a lot. It was like he basically knew everything to say to me. It was scary. He was almost too perfect.
I couldn't help but reminsce about our talk when I walked through the front door and practically jumped up the stairs. Safe in my room, I thought about him. It felt like he knew so much about me, but I barely knew him. We couldn't have talked more than fifteen minutes...
But still. It was a nice conversation. Funny, too. He gave me his cell phone number and AIM and told me to talk to him sometime. I decided that I would do just that. My laptop finally booted up and I logged in. He was online and I was hoped that I wouldn't screw this up.

Thomas.Thomas.Thomas.
It felt like my heart kept beating his name...also like a sappy movie. It felt like I was living in Twilight except I knew who I wanted and Thomas wasn't as white as a ghost. He was perfectly tanned and perfectly amazing.
I sat down in my sister's room. Ashley was staring at his Facebook page, contemplating whether or not to add him as a friend.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"What does it look like? Should I add him?"she said back.
I took a deep breath and said, "I like him, Ash. Can I please, please, PLEASE have him?"
She turned slowly and said, "But what if he likes me?"
I replied with the same question.
"Well...I guess whoever he likes, he'll date." she turned back and clicked the add button.
I suddenly wished I hadn't said a thing. This was going to end one way: with a broken heart and a succesful sister. I wanted to be the second one.

I couldn't believe what Daniella was telling me. Asher's best friend, Travis, liked me. Noticed me. It bothered me that he never said anything. I speculated if I'd seen him before. I was always bad at seeing the "big picture". I only saw certain things at a time. A hot guy was one of them.
"So, Travis. Have you seen him yet?" I asked her.
She shook her head.
"No. I don't know anything about him."
I groaned and flopped face down onto my bed. I wished that it wasn't raining. I would actually be able to navigate around town without a speed boat. I could actually track this Travis guy down. I could boy stalk him.
"I'm sorry," she apologized, "I didn't know how it would look."
I rolled over.
"How what would look?"
"Me asking him 99 questions about his friend."
I told her not to worry about it, even though I wanted a time machine so that I could go back and tell her to ask him 99 questions all about Travis.
