This a follow up video and it's intended for those new to concealed carry. If you already have a permit and pistol, it won't reveal anything new to you. Just a few thoughts on caliber and the compromises each one has. I'll discuss my thoughts based on when I was shopping for a concealed carry gun. I prefer a 9mm for a smaller gun, but some of you may want a .40 or 45 ACP. I felt a subcompact pistol would be easier to control in a smaller rd. Just my preference - you may not agree. So shop around and pick the one you can shoot best. Just keep in mind the compromises each one requires. Maybe you'll have the opportunity to shoot several and pick the best one for you.

  • Several components of this pistol is made of plastic, will that may compromise the behavior of the gun with some use? It really is a question that prevents this weapon is even better!

  • @7902edinho Polymer frames are very common now- I don't think it would effect the long term durablity. They have decades of use to show that can handle what the owner can dish out.

  • "For the Ladies"--what if the perp steals the purse with the revolver in it lol? good luck explaining to the DA its not your fault he shot an old couple with your gun you stored in your purse. that's what holsters are for ladies. oh but i guess its cuter lol! ASSES!!! shoot and carry with whatever you kick ass with. i want velocity, stopping power, penetration, DAMAGE!!! 10 mm or .357 SIG is my choice, if i could afford that ammo lol. Shoot safe!

  • @Gettoblaster80 Sure the purse can be taken, but I mentioned that as one option. Didn't say it was the only one. Hopefully a lady would use one with some beefy straps to maintain posession!! True a holster would be better & safer!

  • what kind of holster is that for the fnp

  • @cantbetouch100 Uncle Mikes sidekick hip holster #5.

  • well i wold also recomend a caliber you can affort to shot allot. If you buy a 45 and canot affort to shot it frequently you will be more served with a 9mm you can get educated with and shot allot. one hit with a 9 is better than a miss with a 45

  • Caliber debates make me LMAO. Do some research. First of all handgun rounds create a temporary wound cavity. Second of all the size of the cavity, between the 9mm, .357 sig, .40, and .45 that's created is minimul at best. This whole one shot with a .45, and it's game over is crap. Shot placement is far more important, then caliber size. So if you cant hit ****, then you need to find a caliber you can control. Also the 9mm is a lot cheaper to practice with, unless you reload.

  • 40 cal and up, people, get your shot on!

AB109 has gone thought and more criminals then ever are out of prison.

So hide your kids, hide wife cuz they rapping everybody out here

  • i like it cuz the ammo is cheap which means more range time which means your better with the gun. And a 9mm with a nice hollow point 7-8 rounds will fuck someone up..

  • carry what you can aford to shoot, for your carry load maby try talking to the pd and ask what they carry so that you can use it aswell. make sure that whatever you select for your carry amunition make sure that i cycles relyably in whatever you carry. some guns are picky about what works for them, doing this will also help you know where your point of inpact is and how the stronger recoil feels. finaly i would sugest taking a training course that explains the laws where you live.

  • I carry a 40 calo..xd but a 9mm is plenty of power with hollow points...

  • @winkdogydog101 Many of the dudes you hear about getting killed by .22's tend to bleed out minutes or even HOURS after being shot . Yes, a head shot or CNS hit with a .22 CAN stop them quickly, but again, scoring precise hits like that under stress is VERY difficult, even if you're highly trained. Besides, rimfire ammo doesn't always go bang. I mean, a PENCIL can kill someone, too, but I'm not gonna start carrying a #2 pencil instead a 9mm. A .22LR pistol as a first choice for defense is poor.

  • @darkwriter77 this is so untrue. I was a bouncer as a kid and at the club i worked at was across from a bar. Well one night they had a shooting. A woman was getting robbed by some man with a knife. She shot him twice with some 22lr pistol and he was down. Didnt kill him and he took chest hits however if you think that a 22 or a gun for that madder shouldnt be used for lethal force unless there is no other choice. And FYI the dude was 300lbs + I promise you if you shot someone with a 22 your safe

  • @Gettoblaster80 you sound like a complete tool
