@andrewfinch1066 What i mean is that Russians invest in simplier weapon systems, which are more reliable. High-tech made in US is still more reliable than Russian high-tech, but most of Russian weapon systems are more reliable than US ones.
For example many or possibly even most of US weapon systems rely on GPS, while GPS systems can be shut down by destroying less than ten satellites.
Also Russian tanks and infantry weapons have an execellent reputation on reliablity.

@hjtjl china has purchased the system and is manufacturing its own under the name Hongqi-10. if this one is chinese or russian nobody knows. seems more like chinese to me,considering their reputation haha

@DaveSauerkraut Typical dumbass comment. Less advanced does not mean crap...

Russian military technology is a lot more reliable than US military technology.

S-300 is not made in China, it is made in Russia and it is SOVIET TECHNOLOGY

@kane6ify By the way S-300 is Soviet technology and it is their property, China doesn't manufacture S-300 this video is misleading, The Chinese only bought this from RUSSIA therefore it is not made in China, stupid arse
There is not technology that 100% fail safe. IMHO it is quite idiotic things say that "this is crap" or similar things. You can find similar videos about USA or European stuiff too.
BTW the most interesting fact in the video the long engine burn time. The original S-300's missile burn time was about 8-9 sec. This had much longer.

@purpleravenstar
Maybe US should resolve quality problem of it's Patriot system.It has almost as much failures as successes in test phase and it was still accepted into service.Here you see one failure out of 100 various S-300 test videos and straight away you assume how inefficient system is,lol.Everyone knows that in training you would use oldest missiles you got in stock and S-300 has been around for a while.
