I have waited and hope they would return but that did not happen. I knew when I saw the tree stand with corn bait , a camo bag hanging from the tree they went after these beautiful deer for their antlers to compensate for what they lack between the legs. Deer loves life, they are not rock or object to put on your walls or to take pictures of your pathetic killing as you count the points on the antler.




Federal and state game managers are fond of explaining that hunters have to kill deer to save them from starvation. What they don't tell you is that there are more deer competing for the same food supply as a result of their game management policies. There is an excellent book devoted to this subject: The American Hunting Myth by Ron Baker Unfortunately, it is now out of print, but Wildlife Watch may still have a few copies. Here is something everyone should know too. These states used 'hunting' to "reduce" deer DVA's yet they have the highest DVA in the past 15 years.

Some states have far more deer collisions than others. According to State Farm's claim statistics, the 10 states with the most deer crashes between June 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006 account for more than half of all such claims.
