@Goldenchild795 1999 was Ronnies best year, you have no idea about bodybuilding. you say he "added so much mass" but then you think he should win even though he is smaller and less ripped than other guys. hypocrite

@Goldenchild795 lol, you idiot. when I speak of genetics, Im speaking of MUSCLE SHAPE. i said that already, flex was born with beautiful lines and muscle belly shape, thats why he looks good. he has great aesthetics. i wasnt speaking of structure or metabolism. If you want to give credit to Flex because he put on alot of mass, then why do you think he should win against guys who have more than him? in 99, flex was smaller, less proportionate, and less ripped. why should he have won?

@Goldenchild795 Well he did have very nice round muscles and great muscle tendon lengths with an extremely small waist, regardless of all the hard work these guys put in they all have their genetic strengths and flaws, im not saying genetics are everything or not important, but anyone can transform their skinny or fat bodies into a beautiful body through extreme hard work, food intake and dicipline.

Flex imo had the best muscle structure of almost any bodybuilder in my opinion.

@xswijnji Your totally wrong guy, Flex didn`t have genetics at all.. Try to find some some photos or videos when he first started competing about 1986 or 87, He looked pitiful. He was scrawny with narrow shoulders and tooth pick arms and chicken legs.. It`s absolutley amazing how much mass he was able to put on an ectomorphic frame.. He was at his best at the 99 olympia when he finished second to Ronnie Coleman.. I personally think he should have beat Ronnie that year

@gordonjohnd he never deserved an Olympia because he was never the best bodybuilder in the world at any point in time, hence why he never won an O. He could have won in 1997, but his lazy ass backed out. He never came in fully conditioned, he was always known to cheat on his diet constanty during contest prep.his genetics is what carried him, he shouldnt be given the title for something he was born with. its not a beauty pageant

@xswijnji No. I do get it. I know mucsle looks the way it does due to genetics. But he still had to work at his proportions etc. And yeah i think he should have beaten Dorian. Dorian had a shit look due to genetics, tough! U said why reward for what he was born with? Well it happens all the time in the world. And you could argue about "what you were born with" all day long. You could argue the ability to get to a certain size is genetics (as well as a good pharmacist). But its still rewarded.
