This song came second in the 1998 Irish Eurovision Final, just 3 points behind the winner. Had it won, it would have been the first song in the Irish language to represent Ireland at Eurovision since 1972.

  • my cousins!!! <3 xxx

  • There are in the running to represent Ireland this year (2011) too. :)

  • @gavmcguinness8024 perhaps because everyone in Europe wants to hear Gaelic when Iereland comes along? Niamh sung in English... twice! (but the 1st time she did win). A Celtic song for most Europeans means singing in Gaelic... and as far as I remember Ireland only did that once (in 1972)?

  • @borgqueen5be So why is it that everytime we send great celtic songs to the Eurovision we come last? I don't get it! Take Niamh Kavanagh last year with it's for you. That was a great song and yet the rest of europe place it so poorly.

  • @gavmcguinness8024 Who the fu** is Jedward? We don't know them here (and after looking them up on YouTube: we don't WANT them here!) We want pure Irish music, good music (preferred in Gaelic) in Düsseldorf, Deutchland!

  • let's hope they do.. I'm Belgian and loving it!

  • @borgqueen5be There is a chance but I think it will be slim... They are up against Jedward and from previous years it has been up to the public to decide so I think that it will end up being Jedward this year unfortunately. Another contestant is Nikki Kavanagh who in my opinion is our best bet!

  • Did I get the news right there is a chance this wonderfull trio will represent Ireland in the 2011 ESC?

  • @netherlands1999

No. Her sisters are with her on stage, and Eimear Quinn is not one of them. They will be singing a new Liam Lawton composition in the Irish national final, Eurosong 2011.

  • is the singer who sing first from the 3 the sister of eimar queen?
