@brianzajac2 It all makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. I respect that. I was the opposite. I went to Catholic school for 13 years of my life. I couldn't ask questions about god without being told to "read the bible" or "this is what we believe". I went to search for other things, and to me other things made a lot more sense. I now consider myself Taoist / Agnostic but I go to a Unitarian Universalist church, STILL learning.
Anyways, interesting story! Glad you found SOMETHING. Peace

Thank God for the Truth when He is realized. Only Jesus shed blood for our sins. No other "prophet" raised from the dead. See YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN Devilish or Divine by Dale Brown (on youtube)

You asked the Judeo-Christian God for confirmation? Obviously, you were already biased to actually see other religions. You already made your choice before you went on your journey...

@tophu1021 All I knew was what I learned growing up as a Catholic, so I asked questions from my limited mindset. In the end, I followed God's decision, not mine. How is that being biased if I chose the path God took me on & not my own?

@brianzajac2 You just made a video describing how you started on a journey to find the truth. You looked at all types of different religions. I'm just saying there is a hole between "searching for the truth" and "asking god what you should do". There is an enormous gap in your story. You could have asked Buddha, you could have asked Krishna, you didn't, you asked the judeo-christian god you grew up with, which means you made up your mind BEFORE you went on your journey....

@tophu1021 I admit it...I always believed in God. However, I was open to other viewpoints that do not include God (ex. Buddhism, Confucianism etc.). Who was I, a non-believer to any religion, to judge "the truth"? So I visited teachers from each major religion, documented the discussion and reviewed each religion to make my choice. However, in the end, my continued asking God for direction led me to become a Christian.

Baha'i is a very intresting religion, and i suppose this man could have seen the fact that he loved a christian who could not except him if he didn't follow her choices as a sign from god. I see it as his gf's religious intolerance. If you want to find a religion find what feels right, but if his gf had have been Wiccan would he have followed that belief? if he wants the be a bapist that is wonderful but i think he should realize that it's cause he wants to and not because of his bossy gf

You raise an interesting point. In fact, I questioned this too when researching. As you can see towards the end of the video, I asked for a confirmation from God & he sent it (and still does). Although my gf might have been a catalyst to a quicker spiritual decision, it was ultimately God's decision and confirmation that made me a Christian. Think about this...do "good deeds" get anyone to heaven? Heaven is perfect & we are not. Someone had to pay the price...
