I was hoping for a little longer flight than this but mis-rigging caused decisions to be made. The flight doesnt look too bad but you can see heavier than normal inputs being made to keep the glider from turning left.. I realised I needed to get down before I got too tired.
Long grass ans rigging on the floor resulted in two of the RHS under surface battons going over the leading edge. This made the RHS wing drop its trailing surface and fly faster - causing the wing to want to turn left all the time.. The landing was fast because trying to keep the wing straight increased the speed. I was unable to get upright an high enough on the uprights to slow the wing down.. lesson learned..!

I'm sure he has done it many times, Looks like a Roter harness, I don't know how much that pod let him get up right, but I like to be up right as much as I can, when coming in for a landing, I get my hands up hight on the down tubes when I flair, Dive in-roundout-bleed off- flair Brad Kushner taught me that long ago and have never broken a donwtube up to this date

byebye downtube. and ehm if you have a topless, expensive glider, and no wheels, i think you know how to flare. Scary situation. Glad just the DT broke and not your ass. :)

your hands are to low on the downtubes, your body positions is right. How are you goiing to flair the glider with your hads so low?
