I can't see anyone with serious training actually using this product. I like the idea, but it forces you to maintain a horrible grip. The mag ends up where both thumbs should be, forcing your thumbs lower and increasing the rise from the recoil. Perhaps if there was a way to have the mag further forward...

How the hell do you holster yoru weapon with this contraption? I can't see it being any faster than reaching for my belt mag holder AND I can holster my weapon after firing.

ahh, thanks for the info. i had gone to their website, and it only said glock .40 was available. i wasn't aware there was a 45 version. i'll call them monday and see if i can order one.

@davewilson16 i was wondering if maybe you could reach under as opposed to in front of the muzzle. but if there is room for a thumb, that's even better. i assume that's an M&P .40. would it work with an M&P .45? same rail, i just wonder about the girth of the magazine. thanks for the reply and the video.

Quit slapping the trigger.
How do you re-holster that thing?

It's not designed for carrying on your weapon. It's made to keep either a spare or primary magazine on your weapon when you store your weapon at home. This vid was made to show how it works. You would not use this system for carrying, only storage.

it looks like the magazine is in the way of where i would have my left thumb during normal shooting; the takedown lever. is it reversible to the other side? it looks like you had to deliberately avoid it with your left thumb.

The system is reversible, however, if you are a right hand shooter, you would break the plane of the muzzle reaching for the magazine, which is a no-no. There is room for your thumb on the slide release and take down lever as the magazine is located away from both the slide and frame. Thanks for asking.

I checked with my family member who works for Secutor, and he advised that the Nightwatch was designed primarily for the GLOCK's, but I'm sure the Glock 21version would fit your M&P.45
