automatic works great with turbos. its like a supercharger since the rpms dont drop as drastically as they do with stick. that would be the best way to go. either that or swap it to manual.
auto isnt for me though

@saj3n just cut the can off of it and put a turn down tip on it. i did it to my 528 and it sounds aggressive but its really not that loud.

somteimes there differences. And not too small beacuse of the exhaust designs.
V6 Audi or Ford for example.

It still turns heads from a block or so away, but not like the nasty ricer exhausts. Has a deep rumble to it, actually sets off car alarms at times.

Really nice sound on idle there, ive had 2 540 E34´s and they are just lovely!

definitely! I love them as well. Recently added a 98 528i to the garage.... scared to put exhaust on in case of disappointment. :-X
