  • how does it do for accuracy nice vid

  • @MrColton9898 - it's not very accurate, compared to some barrels. But if you keep it in good clean and well-adjusted order, it should treat you just fine. Mine tended to be more accurate than most flatlines. I don't use it much anymore, since I now usually play with precision shooting instead of range.

  • To get the best performence out of my flatline what do i need to do? i just an a5 yesterday with a flatline i havent really messed with the velocity and the balls are vearing to the left and right some times.. do i just need to turn my velocity down?

  • @Stephanchick - Keep your velocity between 265-280fps. User good quality paint only. Try to use a real consistent power source - use a regulator, if possible (yes, even with HPA, just to be safe).

  • Does anyone know if you can put the X-7's Low Profile hopper to the A-5 without it blocking the sight of a "ACOG" i have on it?

  • I know you absolutely can. In my latest incarnation, my A5 has the X7 hopper installed.

  • hey great video

i just bought a 2011 tippmann a5 and as we all know the stock barrel sucks

would you recomend this barrel or should i go with the new apex 2 barrel?

  • how acuarate is the flatline?

  • @MrColton9898 Anything above 18 inches is good. I havea salvo with 22 inch barrel, and it shoots accuracte to 50-75 yards maybe. Don't get a flatline, its a waste of money and is very touchy with velocity.

  • what is a realy good barrel for accuracy

  • any barrels that you think are accurate

  • @VinnieDain424 - Yes, it provides backspin on the ball, creating the "Magnus Effect". It is the same effect that keeps an airplane in the air (low pressure above, high pressure below). So, the ball spins backwards, but travels forward on a flatter trajectory.

If you look inside the barrel, you'll notice it's more like sandpaper instead of a smooth bore. This grips the ball, so it can impart that spin. The bend forces the ball to the top of the barrel, so the correct spin is imparted.

  • So how do you fix it if its not lined up?
