  • How far apart is your grip supposed to be?

  • I like the way it shakes the earth when you drop the weights.

  • no flexibility

  • good form buddy...considered the first time...very good form :)

  • The only real problem that I see in your form right now is your lack of speed when you explode.

But wow, this is great technique for a first timer.

  • STFU! Yeahh Just gonna record me having perfect form my 1st time ever.

  • I appreciate your insight,I m going to have to work on my core strength to correct this problem.

  • @devak1000 if the issue your having is starting at a more compact stance with your legs and increasing the size of your base after the intial explosion (spreading your legs) the problem is most likely you don't have enough balance or strength to keep it still. This isnt always a bad thing as it will make the first 20-40% of the lift a pain if you go ass to ankles on the catch but as you extend the lift will become easier and easier. As opposed to a closed stance which relys on alot of power.

  • I"m learning the olympic snatch on my own because I don t have access to the gym at the moment.Does any one know why I tend to do snatch automatcally on wide stance as in a frog-like squat? Is it because of lack of legs flexibility?

  • good snatch- i see you're a x-fitter... imho, you should only catch the snatch as low in the squat as you need to- otherwise you make more work for yourself to do... but then again, in xfit, the goal may not be making the o-lift as easy as possible
