You nailed this whole movie... your timing (even in the short period of time that you had) is so real and touching.. Especially in the track "i cannot see his color" and the end of "the gravel road" . As a Film music composer i really liked you answered this particular question so honest and took all the time for it..!

hey hilary, i know this is a bit of an old post however, how do you usually pick the works that you will play? what sort of filter do you use to accept to take on the challenge of recording a soundtrack for example?
i think the village soundtrack to this date has a unique tone and sound that no other has achieved so far for me!

I've been listening to The Village soundtrack for over a year now, and I never once knew it was you?! I'M SO MAD AT MYSELF! All this time I've been hoping for you to do a movie soundtrack like Josh Bell and Angels & Demons, but it was on my iPod the whole time!
When I was was watching your documentary, I was trying to figure out why they were playing The Village soundtrack in the background, I guessed it was because of the strong violin part. I never once thought that you were playing it! ARGH
