Deanie gets mad.

One of the well-acted scenes from the 1961 film, "Splendor in the Grass."

Natalie Wood is an acting genius! :D

  • One of the greatest acting performances I've seen, she carried the entire movie on her back, how did she not win an Oscar?? It makes no sense.

  • @Francesko263 She was, you're right !

  • her mom was awful.

  • Joan Crawford would have slapped the crazy right out of her.

  • Such a painful scene to watch. And memorable too. I haven't seen this film in it's entirety for years and this scene stands out as almost too painful and private to watch again. Great acting by Natalie here.

  • Natalie Wood must have been jewish russian.

  • WOW! Was she ever beautiful. Superbly acted scene!

  • My favorite part was when the dad said,"Gimme sum dat medicine ." He He He

  • Tell it like it, Wilma Dean!
