@AwakePublius420 I've always wondered if it is indeed worth the money, because it is expensive. Initial cost of EB = $30-40, spread over the life of the EB. Potting mix (these days) is around $12-15, dolomite/lime + fertilizer, the initial costs make you not want to start it.
I had 40+ pounds of tomatoes in one earthbox, got 20 pounds of peppers in another box, same for the squash in another earth box. yellow squash in the store is 1.99 per pound, and I harvested 20+ pounds of yellow squash off of four plants in one box, that would cost me 40.00 at the store. 50 pounds of tomatoes, how much would that cost in the store? It is very well worth the investment.
