My Cockatiel, Kirby, acts very strange when you blow on her neck...I think she likes it!

The bird wants a bath. That's what they do. They fluff up and rub all over everything.

My male 'Tiel does that too. I always thought it was some kind of 'game' he plays. Then again, he does the 'drumming' with his beak thing too. Maybe its typical of male 'Tiel behavior?

That is the main reason I LOVE females so much over males. I have never seen a male be THAT CUDDLEY in my life! And I have had my share of males and females. Every female I have ever had ended up being like that! I love female cockatiels!

aw, my barney does that too! i just recently discovered he likes this several months back. it is not always, sometimes i try and he looks at me like "how dare you!" other times he gets really into it. the other night i went to cover hm, he had a little fuzzie feather on his nostril. i blew at it to remove it and he helped move it to get it to blow off. it got off him, but h helped by moving at certain angles and by not getting annoyed w me like he sometimes can lol. i love my barn so much!

aww my little mans name is Kirby too :) hes new so hes not as wonderful as yours i adopted him from an unwanted home poor guy, my old tiels used to to that alot i think its a wind beneath the wings kinda thing :) btw shes a beauty

:) she has a special whistle for me too...whenever she sees me coming home from work, she does this high pitched whistle just for me lol

She is weird...for some reason she loves when you blow into her feathers. Probably just wants me to keep doing it lol :)
