  • Good question, the lens has 3 rings, one for f/stop, one for speed and one for distance to subject with option of infinity. For that reason the bellows are used to focus. There is no focusing ring on the lens basically.

  • thanks for your comment man! this video thing gets addictive, doesn't it?

  • beautiful camera! Thanks for the nice video!

  • Thanks a lot Bre. And thanks for making those cool videos that made me find my old analog sony cam and made some videos.

  • Question: Why the fuck does this camera remind me of 1800 style camera? It has a lever for gods sake and the shutter button is non-existent, it's some small button at the bottom of the camera. Considering the digital age we live in, they could have made it look more modern, it looks like a horrible.

  • Hi! What does the lever on the film back do? The one that covers or uncovers the red dot...

  • I enjoyed your video :) Good job.

  • @jaimeb82bcn Actuallly, on for example, the 50mm, the distance to subject, third ring on the lens, is used to correct the floating element in the lens. At the 90 mm there are no floating elements however.

  • I still have to do the shot with a DSLR first to try out the right metering xD

  • as far as image quality goes, could the detail in a well processed RB67 image have better detail than one from a digital 18 MP canon 7D?

  • Sorry for the amateur question, but why don't you focus the lens by turning the ring on the lens? Is the knob on the camera just an extra way to focus the lens? Like a fine-tuner?

  • poor video... semms like jaime learns how to use his own camera while filming :)

Some things (which made me fall in love with the RB67) are missing in this footage:

-turning back (ok, seen on video, but) turning marks in the viewfinder!! when I saw this I decided to buy one :)
