DIY... wrong again. Homeowners beware. There is so much more to proper shower pan installation than this. I find it hard to believe that anyone this misinformed actually collected a paycheck for this disaster.

@datzfast You are completely wrong, but I guess you don't know & don't know that you don't know. The membrane prevents the small amount of shower water that gets through from damaging the ceiling below. But the membrane is supposed to be sloped so the excess water can work its way to the weep holes built into the drain just above where the membrane is clamped to the drain. ALL manufacturers specify this pre-slope, Tile Council of North America, AND codes such as UPC, IRC etc Video is wrong
