  • . This was the first song on his '92 release Robben Ford & the Blue Line .I remember the first time I heard this tune when I bought this release ... my jaw hit the floor! Ford's tone and choice of notes is what set's him above the norm ... the guys a powerhouse of guitar talent !!!

  • Love the way the bass player hits the cameraman at 4:08 :) Great instrumental, love Fords aggressive and funky playing (the album version is quite tame compared to this).

  • This song was written for Stevie and Jimmie Vaughan, right?

  • Robbins looking like Terry Silver here. (you know the bad guy from karate kid 3?)

  • The bass player is Roscoe Beck, has played with Eric Johnson among others...the drummer is Tom Brechtlein, very accomplished. Check out their websites.

  • about halfway through, i just stopped the video and spent about 5 minutes contemplating what a BAMF that bass player is.

oh, and robben ford is pretty sick too. dayum.

  • @joethepainter90 why?.. I know it's easy to say it's never too late, but it's the truth.. You won't regret it either, most of the time it's all fun. People tend to think they are not musical and playing an instrument is for people whos born with talent. It creates an intimidating thought of trying it themselves. Trust me, no one is great the first time they pick up an instrument, not the second time either. It takes time for all of us.. Don't go though life without even trying to live the dream!

  • @joethepainter90 Practice, practice, practice, dedication, more practice, you'll get there maybe never this good, but if you never start you'll never find out my freind!!

  • I met Robben Ford when I was 4 or 5 years old. He gave me a guitar pick, an autograph, and I took a photo with him. He's a terrific guitarist and his music has been with me for as long as I can remember. I remember being 2 years old and listening to "Robben Ford and The Blue Line" and one of my Dad's Stevie Ray Vaughan CD's. Now I'm 18, and I still love this music!

  • @Claud129 And I'm learning how to play the drums of these songs :) I know how to play Step On It. :D

  • @Claud129 I understand this kind of music :D So you don't have to worry about me :) Love Robben ford....Best '90s artist I know.
