Terrific start to a damned fine album, one of Steve's best. The 2nd act here really lifts off w/ Steve's amazing guitar work, but the 1st half is equally thrilling for me w/ that pulsing, pounding keyboard riff and the harmonized vocals. At the 02:20 mark, when the singing stops and those solos start competing w/ each other, that's what does it for me. =)

I was fortunate to see this song live by Steve Hackett in Amsterdam, many years ago. Amazingly unbelievable!

It´s a milestone on guitar history !
The guitar solo on this track is simply awesome and in a class of its own. Hackett's phrasing and dexterity is up there with the all time greats.
