On Oct. 13, 2003, Keller Williams realtor Gerard Growney removed his client, an elderly Alzheimer's patient, from his Michigan assisted living facility, and flew him back to St. Petersburg, FL. There, Growney took his client to Attorney Alan Watson. Watson assigned to himself Durable Powers of Attorney over his client's estate. Two weeks later, Watson rewrote his client's will, naming Growney and his girlfriend as beneficiaries of an estate worth $1.5 million.
I sympathize with this family, because i'm in the same position with my mother...except it's my sibblings who have excluded me and it seems no one will hear my plea nor look at the evidence i have to support my claim of my mom's explotation...i havent saw my mom in over a year now because of sibblings who have power of attorney...it's all on You Tube if only the right people will look and do something for me and mom
