Supreme Hunter fight on hard. It wasn't nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. It only took me a few retries to get it right. (Even though I did have a few close calls, especially right at the end.) I also had a few problems with the touchy targeting system, and it kept making me miss a lot of my attacks.

Here's a list of the mains upgrades that I used for this fight.

POWERS:
Blade fully upgraded. While I didn't use Blade Frenzy, or Blade Sprint Frenzy a whole lot on this fight, it can come in handy for certain situations. Blade Air Slice is a must have for this fight, or any fight really. Buy this upgrade as soon as it becomes available. Even though he sometimes blocks it, it forces the hunter to stop his attacks, and it also knocks you away when you hit him. This can be extremely useful for when you need to regroup.

Armor. While I never really tested if the defense boost was worth the speed/manuverability loss, I just decided to use it out of habit. If you absolutely need Glide and Overroll, you can probably manage without it though.

Musclemass fully upgraded. Once the clock starts ticking, you can't be wasting any time cosuming soldiers for health. Furthermore, I think there are less and less soldiers to consume as time goes on. So you can't be taking him on in close combat and losing all your health. You just run around and grab anything you can throw at him for a decent amount of damage. All other powers I didn't really find useful here.

MOVEMENT:

Jump and Sprint full upgraded. The Supreme Hunter is extremely fast for his size. You're gonna want to be able to get around as easily as possible so you can keep your distance when you need to. Air Dash Double and Air Dash Double Boost are also must haves for those quick getaways.

SURVIVABILITY:

You're pretty much gonna want to buy everything in this category, or at the very least, Adrenaline Surge and all Critical Mass upgrades. Your devastator attacks are basically going to be the majority of the damage you're doing. You're really gonna want the extra health and regen bonuses though. He does massive damage with almost every attack.

COMBAT:

Air Critical Pain Devastator is the most important upgrade of them all. (In case you didn't know, you unlock this upgrade by buying Cannonball.) There is nothing more useful then being able to glide away from the hunter while doing massive damage to him. Try and pay close attention to the hunter's health, and when he gets close to the timer point, run around and get a full health bar. That way you can unload 2 or 3 devastator attacks on him right after the timer starts. All other devastators are optional, but you'll probably have them already from earlier in the story. (Air Groundspike Graveyard Devastator absolutely destroys Elizabeth Green's protector things. If you're having trouble on that boss fight, I highly recommend that upgrade.) All other combat upgrades are optional. You'll never really be fighting him without a weapon anyways.

DISGUISE: Consume Boost is recommended. The fewer times you have to stop and consume someone the better.

VEHICLE:

Nothing here really unless you decide to use a helicopter during the first half. Wouldn't advise it.

WEAPONRY:

Missile and Grenade launchers can sometimes be useful, but you don't really find them that often, and you usually don't have the time to stop and grab them. Don't even try to use a Machine Gun or Assualt Rifle. They do basically no damage and slow your movement down way too much.

  • Not sure about air tendril barrage but I'm pretty sure it works the same as air groundspike graveyard

  • @ekimhclew He targeted the hunter and while in the air his alex mercer hovered to get the shot lol Air critical pain is the only devastator that can be used while actually in the air :) The others just charge in the air then fire when you hit the ground but Air critical pain will hover close to your target and get you into position to fire its really cool to use :D i've used it multiple times and it does this same technique alot!!

  • @Turkeysub111 he doesn't actually jump up to it lol what with him being so big though he can jump high regardless but what he does is throw well aimed concrete block pieces with amazing accuracy :P that hit you almost 70% of the time if you don't pay close attention while out of his LoS and these will hit your helicopter no matter how good you are at flying and of course not to mention the 12 auto turrets on the reagan that shoot you to ...Sigh

  • It looks like anime. Very epic with this song.

  • @RawrItsAndrew true the Whip specialty is the range and that's what i would use if i got to that part xD

  • I used the whip heavy attack triangle/y

seems to get the job done

  • if u get a heli the surpreme hunter will just jump up 2 it and destroy it

no matter how high u go

  • how about jacking a heli? does that work good?

  • Go around destroying hives. Just do them constantly. Forget you are doing it for EP! Its quite entertaining. Then get bulletdive drop. U can use it to sestroy hives with 3 hits! Just do it from the nearest tall building! A few hours of that, and fighting, destroying strike teams, etc ( that will all happen in the battle ), and you will have enough EP to buy everything!
