its a common problem with this phone, you'll need to have a new usb port fitted using a 'hot air' soldering iron. Call around your local repair shops and you might find someone who can do it

Hello, Please help me get an Nokia E7 engine board as the one which I have is damaged and have to be replaced. Could some one help me find a place or could guide me on how to purchase one. Please e-mail me on bervinn@yahoo.com. I'm a Sri Lankan and is it possible for me to get it via DHL or any other way.

Again, thank you for your advice, i suppose i will do it by my self, it's funny, but in Ukraine I can't be sure for even 70-80%, that if I'll give my phone and ribbon cable to local repair shop they will do it and it will work and price will be close to 30 euros just for replacing of ribbon.

It depends on how good you are with working on small parts, it won't matter if you damage the old flex during removal and you'll learn quickly where the switches and buttons need to go. But if your not sure I would buy a new ribbon and take it to your local repair shop who could probably do it in 30 minutes

    Thank you fore your answer!

i already find the cable which should be replaced ( i thought, that spar parts will be more expansive:) ). about replacing of this cable, as i understand i need to disassembly hole device and than put everything together, am i right? it's quiet tricky for me to do it by my self, should i give it to service or i should try to do it by my self?

    thank you,

    Andrew.
