She probably let it go and made an effort to forget it
A couple weekends down the road is when they graduate
With plans to separate cause she was going out of state
Following her dreams to be a singer writing music
While he went onto a college cause he loved creating graphics
Hours turned to days and then the days turned into months now
Not a word from either party partly cause of time now
And both of them has thought about the other through a song
Would they ever sing along see that's the question they would ask
A dangerous position if you ponder on the future
it's out of your control better focus on the present tense
And even if its relevant, you have to try to let it go
At least you have no regrets the day you said hello
