i like valve and i had the money to buy the game and no other game interested me at the time.

what I find insulting about the boycotters is how they call me a "sell out" and saying that i "suck valves dick" just because i bought the gam

These guys call themselves "gamers" and didn't even made some basic research on L4D1, Valve and Steam, they're as informed as the average guy buying his console copies at Walmart

Seriously, they're just like "Joe the plumber" trying to make some economic analysis : total lack of knowledge, no research, no sources, illogic analogies :(

I think the cherry on the cake is when they released the l4d maps onto l4d2, I'm pretty sure it used the l4d engine since my framerate always seems to increase dramatically which if I recall, was said "couldn't be done".

Valve has dropped just about all support for l4d/l4d2. Bugs in l4d2 on day one are still there

So, lets just start off by getting a couple'a things straight. Left 4 Dead failed to support new content and was basically a successful experiment. Left 4Dead 2 will basially be the base game from now on. all content from l4d1 is going to be in l4d2. The good thing about Left 4 Dead 2 is that it has better add on support so it will be possible to add more weapons, characters and other things. Plus what is wrong with this happening? L4d2 has better graphics and better gore.so whatever. accept it

Seeing what Valve is doing with L4D2... I really wish, I didn't buy L4D - no, seriously... I feel, like I've funded a free DLC for anyone, who bought only L4D2. It's just such a bullshit, what Valve did and is doing with L4D2. "We are going to keep supporting L4D after L4D2 is released" blahblahblah... what a steak of lies...

i didn't know there WAS a boycott. I bought l4d and then ditched it after a month because it was so horribly repetitive. i just assumed l4d would be the same and didn't bother dropping money on a crappy reincarnation of the same novelty game.

@HECTORYZ me too, (though ellis is awesome) but there is improvement in l4d2, i reallly prefer l4d2, +
