  • mike i love your style. also the easy listening stuff,

    you are an inspiration...

you for one do not suffer from the need for speed. i love the feel you put in, and the musicality of your freeform solo's

instead of randomness the music has a goal.

    great guitaring.

also thanks for the jamtracks on your site.

    please keep uploading.

    regards Freek hoekstra The netherlands

  • Thanks for nice comment mate !

  • LJ15 ....UNION JACK flying V???? Good gawd I bet that just made good ole General Robert E Lee turn over in his grave. The V has the Confederate Union Flag design on it. Calling it the Union Jack would be likened to saying Christ was crucified by hanging him on a clothes line.

  • I had this piece as my main guitar at the time when I was a member of a southern rock band (something in Lynard Skynard style). Therefore the confederate design.

  • wow, great song, really awesome!!!

btw, if i may ask, among pedal guitar effects , what would be a good compressor especially for hand picking?

    thanks in advance,

    chris

  • There is a difference between stomp and studio compressors. As for stomps Main Squeeze (Digitech) is not bad, or the classic - Dynacomp or Boss CS. Best way - take all 3 and compare by playing your typical style

  • I thought it sounded like For the Love of God too.

But it's still original he just used it as inspiration.
