Meet Lisa Whelchel of "The Facts of Life"

Lisa, former Musketeer and Star of The Facts of Life is sold out to God and has been from an early age. Since she was about 10yrs old there is not one filmed instance of her ever displaying nudity, simulating sex, taking the lords name in vain, cursing or allowing her character to do anything else that would grieve the God. She is now an accomplished author and all her books glorify God and have a strong Christian ethic.


We often see celebrities and sports figures giving thanks to God for victories, or wearing a cross, some even profess to be Christians, but how many actually follow Christ. Id wager that 99% of Hollywood Christians are NOT saved. If you dont believe that watch them for ten minutes, neither there personal lives nor the characters they portray on screen have any likeness to Christ. They have NOT turned from sin and their religion is only skin deep. I have put together a playlist of celebrities that have given themselves over to the will of God and follow him. They are not perfect, none of us are, but they strive to serve God, not be served by him.

Sounds to my like she replaced quantity with quality. She's talking about meditating on the Word not just reading it.

So what she is saying is that she felt guilty about not spending enough time reading the bible, so she invented a method where she still did'nt spend enough time but managed to iradicate the guilt. Now she wants to sell you that guilt free method.

I like the scripture in Isaiah that says that God leads gently those with young. It's so true.
