I made this video as part of an end-of-term A-level Physics project. It stars my cat, Molly, as Cat, and me as Schrodinger.
It's not entirely scientifically accurate, but it's good fun, and what it says at the end is a good link to thinking about quantum immortality and the like.
Cat Superposition. That's great!

I love how the cat is alive in the background on the right in the shot of the girl crying!
Seems the cat survives Schrodinger in BOTH outcomes!

Pajamas and an unmade bed? Really? For a school project and a youtub video?

brilliant video because it shows a simple example for the "non reflective people", as Dan Dennett puts it. And brilliant because of the music... but mostly brilliant because Molly pops her head up at 1:20 :-D

So perhaps space-time isn't like a fabric at all, but more like a tree, with roots and branches, splitting off in two directions at every possible moment, and place. And all we perceive is the branch we are on. The alternate universe doesn't have to 'collapse' as Schrodinger stated. They both could continue, one branch of space-time with the living cat, and another, with the dead cat.
