Those were stupid responses.It's been proven countless times that Mao & Stalin were atheists,promoted atheism & slaughtered religious people.Yes,they also killed people for other stupid reasons but that still does not detract from the above mentioned facts.

@atheistcrimes (1) Did you not read my reply to your soviet vid?!? Yes, Mao and Stalin may have beehn atheist but that had nothing to do with their crimes. They were power-hungery dictators. Stalin also killed ballerinas, musicians and his own army officers, how does that align with his atheism? Mao, like Stalin, attempted a radip industrialization that displaced and killed many, many civilians. You NEVER show a direct correlation between atheism and mass murder.

Yes,Stalin killed people for not having moustaches too.However,the USSR's anti-religious campaign whose tactics included confiscating church property, ridiculing religion, harassing believers, and propagating atheism in the schools had nothing to do with their dislike for ballerinas,etc.But everything to do with them being atheists.ie. Militantly opposing all things associated with God.

Well try this on...1. Swaggart was a christian( or pick another evangelist). 2. Swaggart had sex with prostitutes( or pick another immorality). Therefore christianity promotes sex with prostitutes( or other immorality).

Mao was a creator of a god, which was himself, by forcing hundreds of millions Chinese people to worship himself. In a certain degree, he just looked like Jesus, who claimed himself to be the son of god.

I'm curious, if I put up a video showing atrocities of Islam, Christianity, etc, and called the video "Theist Atrocities", would you think this was honest of me? Would you be anything other than disgusted at my obvious dishonesty and lack of regard for truth in using such tactics? Than how do you expect us to feel when we see a video about Communist atrocities labeled "atheist atrocities"?

(If a fellow atheist put up a video called "theist atrocities", I'd thumb it down for dishonesty, too.)

@atheistcrimes No it does not have anything to do with him being atheist and everything to do with him wanting absolute power. The church was viewed as being a rival power and a future threat as was other groups and organizations. If this was done to promote and benefit atheism why were so many other groups and ethnic people eliminated? THe killing had everything to do with power and little to do with religious dogma.
