Osbad was average, at best. I am glad he FINALLY retired and I hope he never makes the hall of fame. :-) -When Detroit had their back to back Cups, they were so dominant that TIM CHEVELDAE could have been between the pipes.

@hockeyman241 yea you do know that he lead a nobody islanders team to a winning record and playoff berth right? oh and Osgood has scored a goal, only 2nd in history of Stanley cup playoffs to start the final series with back-back shutouts against your beloved penguins. look up the stats Osgood most underrated goaltender in the NHL and with his stats will be Hall of Fame bound

@bishoppx are you being serious right now! When he went away from the wings then came back he practiced with the u of m goalies because he learned the butterfly style thats why he became only the 2nd goaltender in history to have back-back shutouts to begin the stanley cup finals

@21DieselBoy21 Obviously Roy is one of the greatest of all times. I was a little rash in saying that Osgood was above him, for sure, but you can't not compare Osgood to him.
