I was getting a bit fed up with not being able to find a relatively good quality studio recording of this on youtube, so here it is. One amazing song.

Written originally as the 1st Movement of the Odyssey, a four part instrumental for Halo 2

  • Amazing song. Amazing drummer.

  • I want the instrumental version that plays in Halo 2. Loved the synth that plays during that version.

  • Halo sucks, but using that tune for the intro of this song is just epic

  • my god would i kill to hear this live...so intense and fast paced. I bet Jose and Mikey are exhausted after playing this

  • @Kwood4 nooo problemo man

  • @MrAochider No... I took them into consideration. Those are good songs... but I think their more recent stuff is better. Just because it's more mature is all.

  • @LiliumCruorem You're forgetting all of S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Fungus Amongus.

  • YES! I've been looking for this version ever since I heard it on Incubus' MySpace all those years ago. On a whim decided to search on YouTube, and here it is... Love this version, love the version on the OST, love the instrumental during the game. Good job Incubus.

  • Long live Halo 2, Im just getting into Incubus too. Long live BOTH.

  • thanks for the upload man I love this version better than the Halo 2 one.

  • @Kwood4

    pre verse: 4/4, 5/4, 6/4

    chorus: 3/4, 4/4

  • The first part of the riff is in 9/8, the second is in 11/8, which would make it in 20 i guess. The verse is in 4/4, the chorus is in 7/8. Cool shit.
