Dj Rap - Divine Rhythm

Dj Rap's first release and her best in my opion. Simple & GREAT!! Good break beat and the same vocals as "Bizzare Inc - Playing With Knives" creates a tough but uplifting track.

The vocal sample "Good news, Boppers, the big alert has been called off. It turns out that the earlier reports were wrong, all wrong. now for that group out there that had such a hard time getting homw, sorry about that. i guess the only thing we can do is play a little song." is the final report from the unnamed radio DJ in the cult classic 1979 movie "The Warriors", either sampled directly from the film or indirectly from the intro of "Ozone Breakdown - Renegade Soundwave". The ambient synth and human voice backing sample is taken from the intro to "Kyrie - Mr Mister" and the later vocal element in the track is lifted from "Shelter Me - Circuit".

A favourite of many rave dj's (including me).

I had my first proper E-rush to this song back in the day at hyperbolic, as soon as that breakdown came in the lights went brighter and everything went all sparkly and tingly, and then those beats and the following segments just took me to another level. Good times =o)
