You should offer your services to Arthur, seriously. He's still playing, and desperately needs a real organist....and YOU are the man. You have the shit! If you had a Hammond B3 and played it with the right settings, no leslie, and overdrove the shit out if it for the right tone, you'd be deadly. Where are you located? You ROCK!

@TheNorthernSoulKing If you want to play blues, jazz or rock then you should probably get one of the organs I mentioned above. If you have money - buy a console (A100, B3, C3) otherwise look for a spinet (M100, M3, T-series or L100). Depending on what you like - big manuals, pedals, good vibrato, etc you can find the right Hammond for you. I bought the wrong organ (L122) but I got around it by modifying it.

@gietek Oh ok Would my Concord be right for this song or Booker T songs?

@TheNorthernSoulKing The drawbars in Hammond organs are always the same except for few LSI models that have additional two drawbars for higher harmonics (like Hammond X-66).
Depending on the kind of music you want to play you may actually consider buying a real tonewheel Hammond like A-, B-, C-, M-, T- or even L-series.

I found a Keyboard called Yamaha Motif XS7 for 2,000 on Amazon you should check it out. Its also portable unlike the Hammond. They have some good youtube videos of that Keyboard. I might get that in the future but I just got the Concord so I will try to make it sound Jazy

@TheNorthernSoulKing Thanks but I don't want any Hammond substitute. I bought my L122 and Leslie because I wanted "the sound" which cannot be given by other keyboards like Yamaha or Roland. Concorde probably has one feature that makes it sound not jazzy - and that it percussion. As far as I know the percussion is triggered differently and to me it sounds horrible. Concorde is more of a theatre organ. Good for Barry Morgan perhaps.
