Brilliant video. contrary to all those budding mechanics out there, It's a basic enough explanation for someone learning to drive to know what a clutch does. It doesnt have to bog them down with technical detail. You understand what a clutch does then you'll be better informed on how to control it. It's a great training aid for someone who's never sat in a car before. It's not a machanics lesson. It shows what happens when you press a clutch pedal in it's most basic and easy to understand form

That is certainly not how a clutch works. If you were trying to make a video to simplify the *concept* behind how a clutch works, you had to specify. Now you have got who knows how many thousands of people thinking they actually know the mechanics behind a car clutch, who couldn't be more wrong.
