The VertiFlow™ Stoker System burns each piece of anthracite rice coal thoroughly and completely, producing maximum heat from a compact unit -- up to 95,000 BTUs. The ESP control will increase the fire by precisely the right amount to achieve the desired room temperature. Coal is automatically fed from the bottom of the hopper through the rectangular tunnel by the pusher block. The back-and-forth movement of the pusher block is automatically timed based on heating demands. Coal continues to be pushed up through the tunnel to the feeder entrance. Here, the coal gets hot and starts releasing gases before it reaches the fire. This unique ignition process allows the coal to already be lit when it reaches the burn pot. This allows each piece of coal to remain in intense heat which results in complete burning, and less ash. As the coal is burned, the ash is automatically pushed off the burn pot into the ash pan. This advanced system provides consistent, powerful heat with simple operation.
