Dedicated to one person who I shall not name...

Some say love, it is a river
that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
an endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
and you its only seed.

It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking
that never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken,
who cannot seem to give,
and the soul afraid of dyin'
that never learns to live.

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been to long,
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes the rose.

You can tell that you LOVE what you do and that is PRICELESS!! I have to say that ASL is one of the most beautiful languages ever because it has such an outword expression of emotion. I am at a college. were ASL is a big major, and it is a blessing. From a music major to you that was a AMAZING song and is great to see that you feel the music as much as you do. Hi Mikey..there is another video of someone signing The Rose, she is not Deaf. Her signs seem different than yours..I am assuming she is just signing word for word, and that you are either deaf or better at ASL, because your signing is more complex. Are you signing more in concepts, phrases, expressions, rather than just translating each word?
