the Treasure or the Box

I finally managed to make a film solely for the stopmoshorts.com Haiku challenge.
I had a lot of fun making this, but realised early on that I'd bitten off more than I could chew. All up it took 14 days from go to woe!Anyway, I made it (just) and here it is.
Tech: Aluminium and brass armature/puppet. The head is made from 2 water pipe end caps and filled with blutack and magnets to make the steel eyes stay in their sockets.
Cameras: Canon 350D and Panasonic minidv for live feed. 24mm, 28mm and 80mm(Macro) lenses used. Stopmopro HD and Canon capture also used. Edited in Premiere Pro (first time used, and I'm still not used to the filters that's why my colour correction is sooo dark!) The cut-in is a flash scene I made for this project.The royalty free music is from opsound.com and the ugly sound FX are from a few samplers I have.
I'm planning on doing a re-edit and will post the final result once I recover from this mad rush. Thanks for watching and please leave some feedback. Bye for now
