Creatures: Alien Lifeforms on Mars

Directed by Ward Kimball and narrated by Paul Frees, made in 1957. This video is a part of the show, and review some speculation about lifeforms on planet mars with hand-made cartoons, instead of computer graphics in shows like Discovery´s " Alien planet" or NGC´s " Extraterrestrial".

Remember that the first probe to reach Mars was Mariner 4 in 1964. Until then, they did not know that mars would be a cold and dry desert, they had only speculations based on observations from Earth.

@fromstart2finish Yeah! We need a functioning meritocracy! The people who are lauded should be the ones that strive to pioneer in their respective fields. I say don't sweat it, as a student of history I can tell you with a level of certainty that society is improving over time. Barring something that could throw us back into the Dark Ages, admittedly that something could be idealogical like you mentioned, we'll reach the next epoch. We'll just get their slower than preferred.
