The recording of your voice on this video is merely saying to do one row on the right side, flip the pattern, then do the second on the wrong side. Also, the video is just of the finished product. Is there by chance a visual or more detailed description of the lacey part? Thanks!

I think you are talking about the part where you've finished the increases and are ready to start the pattern. You need to pick up one stitch between the left needle and right needle and place the stitch on the left needle. That will give you 29 stitches to work with on the left needle to start the pattern. After you complete the first row of the pattern you need to turn the work around and start the second row going back.

i got up to where you said to pick up 1st S between 1S & Last S and place it on the last needle. can you show what you are talking about? I was good up to this point. LOL...

@AutoPilotBrittany I have simply recorded my voice where I dictate stitch for stitch the lacey part of the cap. I speak slowly enough that I can keep up and knit each stitch as I speak it. I don't have to keep referring to the pattern and I don't make as many mistakes.
