i dont agree completly with phil galfond's analysis. i dont think making a 4 bet preflop is a wrong play at all, but im also not saying that a slowplay is wrong too. My point is that it is indeed a big risk to play a big pot post flop if you just call a reraise preflop, but not if you are 4 betting or 5 betting preflop with kings.

@godu1111 Hes been on a really hot run over the last few years and really is emerging as one of the best in the game. However, I wouldnt go and say he is Ivey-status yet since obviously Lamb has no cash-game experience.

@Rapz4Lyfe It could also be an Audemars Piguet.

Like a boss!

Yeah, me neither lol.

@IOYB oh right, yeah that could happen. I think Ben could be good enough to lay it down, but I guess we'll never know. I know I couldn't xD

No, I mean, reraised and then 4-bet shoved. I guarantee you at least half of the players in the tourny would've done so. Why risk someone sucking you out with Ace-rag or something when you have them crushed preflop?
-
@IOYB ALmost no-one would have shoved pre-flop, 7 million chips into a 600k pot? bit ott. Re-raise is definitely on the cards though.
Ben Lamb is the new Phil Ievy. This player is fucking sick.
This hand is huge, but you only know how huge it is if you`ve seen the entire WSOP and know Ben`s style. He is usually super aggressive and you can see Darcort`s amazement at the end, he is shocked how Ben didnt 4 bet him pre. Not only that, but he also didnt raise him on the non-Ace flop or the turn.
I think he made to like 5 WSOP final tables and also has one bracelet. Amazing player and a rising star.
