The Beach Boys, with front-girl "Annette", perform under the title credits to a chunk of mid-1960's teenage movie flotsam.
This is the 1965 movie The Monkey's Uncle which was a sequel to 1964's The Misadventures of Merlin Jones. Same cast. Each film was actually two 45 minutes episodes (with separate plots) originally intended to air on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color tv program as a 4-part series. They were released to theaters instead to take advantage of Annette's popularity in films. The Beach Boys opening was added for this purpose

Her accent is so cute. She was so adorable. And her little head mannerisms. I wanna squeeze her.

For me,it is so terribly painful, that the Walt Disney material i grew-up with, like this really

    "Family Freindly" movie,"THE MONKEY'S UNCLE",featuring vintage Beach Boys,and

Annette-may she truly Rest in Peace,,was the superior example of what Walt Disney

was about-and even sadder, that it no longer exists today! the Walt Disney today,is a

name only corporation, that owns ABC,Marvel, and its newest acquisition,Lucasfilm Ltd.,

and its material is anything but the Family Friendly stuff that it was!

I doubt that any girl in history has ever been the "first love" of so many boys. Thank you for being born, sweetheart.

i agree, the only things you see the beach boys in are documentary's and the history of the group.however,as brian Wilson said in the 1960's when asked about maybe the beach boys doing a movie he said they really didn't have the time to pursue that since he was busy writing, arrangeing, and producing the music...
