Hit #1 on the Billboard dance chart for 7 weeks with Glad To Know You & Ai No Corrida in Feb 1982

@coinside247 OHHHH so that's why this sounds so familiar...Did he do some of Teena Marie's stuff?
-
God damn, you have to love Analogue electronics. It has TEXTURE!
I can listen to this stuff all day, and have to turn all this modern electronic "that samples these old tracks' and turns them up too loud OFF. Sounds like some Roland SH synths back there too.. Thanks for sharing..never found this record..it's on 7" too..the groove is similar to another jam..anyone know what song inspired this one? I have one in mind..but there could be more

@tehuti44 mines too

Too funky! This cut was ahead of its time. When it played people would FREAK at the club!
-
Great tune to mix in a set with Paul Hardcastle's "Rain Forest" or "Sound Chaser," and a segue from Giorgio Moroder type stuff to the mid 80's Cybotron, Egyptian Lover, "Din Daa Daa" by George Kranz or even Kraftwerk's "Tour De France."

This is waaaay up there on my favorites list! Thanks!!
-
