This is a pre-concert talk taped Feb. 2, 2009, before a concert by the Munich Symphony at the Kravis Center. The concert, directed by Philippe Entremont., included the Siegfried Idyll of Wagner, the Italian Symphony of Mendelssohn, Beethoven's First Piano Concerto (with Entremont as soloist) and the Five Movements, Op. 5, of Anton Webern.
