xterras suck... 4Runners Kick a$$

so, driving on the S. rim of the Grand Canyon in a chain of 2 4runners and one xterra- the xterra can't keep it on the road and eats it into the ditch on the side of the road. I got to watch the whole rollover happen- almost in slow-mo! Even more fun was throwing the tow rope on it to flip it back over! The Xterra was totalled by the way- My favorite part of the whole video is the side mirror popping off once the car hits its' wheels again! That would make a great 4runner commercial... be sure to look for the video of the same 4 runner in the tough truck competition at the 05 truckin nationals. Bone stock on street tires and it comes in 4 seconds behind the first place truck (which was a $40k custom off road rig!) Only 4 seconds behind- and that's because the driver missed a turn.

Also. If you attach a line of any type to a suv, truck or whatever it's a good idea to drape a towel or jacket over it in case it parts so you don't get hit by the whipping ends and never stand in line with it. A parting cable can kill you. Stay safe, keep wheeling.

Had a 4runner. Biggest piece of shit I have ever owned. Engine went twice and transmission three times within two years. All warranty repairs by toyota too. Got my money back under the lemon law and bought a nissan armada and never looked back. Four years and 300,000 plus miles later it's still going strong, burns no oil with no leaks. The best V8 I have ever owned in 45 years. Fantastic offroad too.
